New: OpenPGP-encrypted export for sensitive projects
For projects with heightened protection requirements, the handover of finished photos can now be end-to-end encrypted.
Until now, the processing chain ended at the interface: ZIP, sFTP, or REST API, with transport encryption. For projects with heightened protection requirements, this is not always enough — especially when there are further stops between Photo Collect and the target system.
What's new
On request, the finished photos are now encrypted with the recipient's public key before they leave the instance. Only the holder of the private key can decrypt them.
What changes in the project
The public key is stored once during setup. After that, the process remains unchanged: the same channels, the same export times, the same automatic deletion after confirmed handover.
Who benefits
Above all for official documents and for projects in which the export runs via service providers. Where the photos go directly into a system on your own network, the previous method remains the simpler one.
