Employees take photos of themselves directly on site - in several languages, with clearly guided operation and with a uniform photo quality. Why a photo kiosk massively simplifies photo capture

A photo kiosk ideally complements the BYOD upload process: it brings a good camera, a standardized setup and clearly defined image quality directly to the location. Employees can quickly take their photo during an appointment, a training day or at reception. This lowers barriers, increases the participation rate, accelerates projects and ensures consistent results. In addition, there is no BYOD obligation for the employee.

Thanks to the WLAN and mobile network connection, the kiosk also works where there is no stable network. And you don't have to do any technical preparation: just set up the kiosk, switch it on and you're done.

Simple process without typing errors in the employee number

Employees receive a personal, six-digit PIN code. This is generated by Photo Collect and can be sent together with the BYOD upload invitation by email or SMS or attached to the payslip, for example. The code enables an upload to the employee's personnel number stored in Photo Collect . Capturing at the kiosk also closes any outstanding upload request from the employee, as the kiosk and the Photo Collect database work in synchronization.

Consistent image quality thanks to optimized hardware

The Kiosk is based on an iPad Pro, whose high-quality front camera offers good conditions for portrait photos. The Photo Collect Kiosk app takes care of image alignment, cropping and quality checks. The image quality remains constant with every shot - regardless of who is taking the photo or the surroundings. This results in photos that are ideal for ID cards and access cards.

Stable, safe and built for continuous use

To ensure that the photo kiosk works reliably everywhere, the photo column has a robust design:

• Stable stand with low center of gravity: The invisibly integrated steel plates in the base prevent wobbling and almost any risk of tipping.
• Vibration-free construction: steel pins fix the column and prevent vibrations during recording.
• Operation for up to 24 hours without mains power: Suitable for events, trade fairs or locations without infrastructure thanks to energy-saving kiosk mode.
• Protected but not overcomplicated security: The iPad is locked and only accessible with tools - sufficient for non-public locations.

The column itself is made in Switzerland - from solid oak wood, CNC-milled and oil-treated. The result is a high-quality, unobtrusive design that fits into any working environment.

Maximum flexibility: rent, use - or operate yourself

The photo kiosk including iPad Pro can be easily rented for projects. Ideal for companies that need to temporarily photograph a large number of employees. At the same time, Photo Collect customers can also use their own iPads with the kiosk app. The license already includes the use of the app - if you want to use your own stands, you can operate a photo station permanently, for example in HR reception or for the continuous Capturing new employees.
